Screen Australia supports video-on-demand (VOD) stream of Fell
Screen Australia is pleased to announce support for the VOD stream of Australian film Fell.
The film will be made available simultaneously with its world-premiere festival screening in Competition at Sydney Film Festival this Friday 13 June.
Felix Media has received a grant through the agency’s revised P&A Plus program to support the VOD release of Fell. The program has been broadened to support innovative distribution approaches where a clear path to audience can be demonstrated. Screen Australia is also an investor in the film through its Feature Production program.
Fell is about Thomas Ryan, a man frozen in grief after his daughter is killed in a hit-and-run incident. When the driver, Luke Simpson, is released from prison, Thomas changes his identity, abandons his corporate life and relocates to the remote outpost where Luke works as a tree feller.
The video-on-demand stream of Fell can be viewed for $9.99 in high definition through any internet-enabled device from 8pm Friday 13 June until 10pm Sunday 15 June AEST. It will be available through the Sydney Film Festival website to audiences in New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT, and through the Adelaide Film Festival website in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
