Applicants for Enterprise Ideas may be: Production or non-production entities Newer companies and alliances with unique propositions and a clear plan outlining how they intend to pursue their objectives Established companies proposing initiatives that would not be undertaken in their normal course of business. Collaborations between companies, including with international partners. However in order to be considered eligible for this funding program, the application must meet the below criteria. The applicant company must: Meet the General Eligibility requirements set out in Screen Australia’s Terms of Trade, including the requirement to be incorporated and carrying on business in Australia, and have its central management and control in Australia Include at least one company director with a minimum of five years of relevant and/or associated participation in the media and entertainment industry Demonstrate a commitment to contribute financially to the delivery of the proposal. Previous recipients of funding under Enterprise Classic are eligible to apply, and if successful, must fully acquit any loan repayments. Recipients of funding under Enterprise People are also eligible. However current recipients of funding through Enterprise programs including Enterprise Growth, Industry, Stories, are not eligible to apply, and previously funded companies will only be considered for proposals which are substantively different to those already funded. Companies receiving funding through the Gender Matters: Brilliant Careers initiative will only be eligible to apply for new proposals. Eligible markets for producers EFM, Berlin Cannes Film Market (up to $6,000) Eligible pitching events for producers Berlin Co-pro Market International Financing Forum, Toronto MIPFormats International Pitch MIP Digital Series Pitch Hot Docs Forum, Toronto IDFA Forum, Amsterdam Eligible labs for producers or directors Berlinale Talents: Summit or Talent Project Market, for producers or directors TIFF Talent Lab for directors Targeted delegations International Drama Summit, Content London: for content creators including producers and writers who are practitioners on the path to becoming showrunners. Applicants must have a credit in the respective role on at least one drama, comedy or children’s series with priority given to applicants who have international co-production experience or recent international sales. Talent USA: Directors or writers who have had recent success with their short films or low budget features selected or awarded at A list festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, Berlin, Venice or Toronto - and/or international audience traction from online series or drama series, and preferably with market-ready long form projects at an advanced stage of development or production. Female writers and directors and those from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply Eligible events have been chosen to ensure that Screen Australia’s support is as strategic as possible and the best use is made of available funds. On exceptional occasions, at the discretion of Screen Australia, an event not on the current list may be considered, if it has grown in significance and/or offers unique commercial opportunities.
