In the South Eastern corner of Australia, clustered around the city of Melbourne, are three zoos, all run by one central board. Each zoo is distinct in its focus, and each worthy of the international recognition it receives. The keepers are passionate, many of the animals endangered and the management is continually struggling against lack of funding.
