About 80 percent of Australians live in the big cities along the coast - an area which is under severe stress. There is pressure to house and feed people, pressure for more jobs and industries, and it is pressure that is fracturing the land - splitting it up for unproductive and environmentally destructive operations. Some people, however, can see alternatives. In this episode, reporter John Budd seeks out individuals on Queensland's Sunshine Coast who are providing alternatives which allow development while preserving the land and environment.
