The Screen Guide

The story of the world's largest-ever aviation convention and air show, held in the American city of Oshkosh in 1981. Over 16,000 aircraft were involved. More than half-a-million people visited the Wisconsin city were treated to some of the most spectacular aerobatics and stunt flying since the barnstorming days of the 1920s and '30s. A group of Australian pilots took part in competitions for the world's top aviation awards. The show also featured the world's fifth largest airforce consisting of fully-restored World War II fighters and bombers.
