The Screen Guide

In the spirit of the hugely successful cricket documentaries, RUGBY IN THE SEVENTIES looks at the tumultuous fortunes of the Australian Rugby Union team throughout the most controversial decade in rugby history. RUGBY IN THE SEVENTIES tells the tale of how the Wallabies were transformed from a team of easy-beats at the start of the decade to a side capable of playing the most exciting football in the world. Through interviews with all the major players of the era, the program reveals how the Wallabies went from a team that could barely win a game at international level, to one that was beating the best teams in the world with a brand of football that was the envy of all others.
