The Screen Guide

The Kosciusko National Park attracts over two million visitors a year, mostly to the ski slopes. But the crowded resort areas are only a small part of the Park. The larger, quieter side is the domain of 73-year-old Ted Winter, who has a special mission in life. He is single-handedly restoring the wooden huts that the pioneer stockmen of Kosciusko left behind. The huts lack the comfort of the ski lodges, but to Ted Winter they're home.
