Burke, a fragile, troubled soul and Wills, a talkative dreamer, are thrown together in an inner-city share house in Sydney. A relationship develops through beer-assisted conversations about cooking, travel and the importance of satisfactory toilet visits. When Burke's grandmother dies, his fragile state is put under strain, and Wills rethinks his own life. The areas the two have kept hidden from the world begin to emerge, creating an inhospitable environment, impossible for both to live in.
