The Screen Guide

When Debra was a child she always considered herself normal. When she hit adolescence strange things started happening as a result of her new found big breasts. People began to look at her differently, point at her, call her names and worst of all expect that she was proud of them. Debra finds that no-one can relate to her feelings of discrimination until she meets a dugong, who like herself, is misunderstood because of its odd appearance. He teaches her that oddities are for exploitation, not denial.
