A brilliant exposé of a history of people in conflict in a third world country. The strengths of the people and personal consequences of a land in civil war are revealed. Shot over a three year period, WITHOUT CHOICE traces the more recent history of Burma, a country which has suffered 45 years of civil war. Through interviews with guerrilla generals and elected politicians, refugees and remote villagers, the plight of Burma is revealed.
