The Screen Guide

Healsville Sanctuary is a zoo with a difference — its occupants are Australian. And along with well-known characters like the kangaroo and koala, it cares for rare and less feted animals such as the Tuan, the Eastern Barred Bandicoot and the Long Footed Potaroo. The sanctuary is establishing breeding populations of these animals and eventually some will be released and monitored in the bush.
