The Screen Guide

Professor Geoffrey Blainey, Professor of History at Melbourne University, created and presented the ABC-TV historical series TheBlainey View - one man's interpretation of our history. He maintains that Australian history pre-dates the building of the pyramids in Egypt, and that Australians judge our history by the 'wrong clock' - our history did not begin in 1788, but possibly some 50,000 years earlier, when man first set foot on the land.
