The Screen Guide

Tony Fountain is a livestock auctioneer, whose interests take him all over Australia. He chases the glamour side of the market - the pedigree business, where individual animals can fetch thousands of dollars, and a couple of hours on the rostrum can earn the auctioneer tens of thousands. He sees his trade as pure show business - the better the show, the bigger the take, for both the client and the auctioneer.
