The Screen Guide

The Survival concert had its beginning in 1988 when it was organised as an alternative to Australia Day celebrations. Since then, it's been held every year to celebrate the spiritual and cultural survival of Indigenous Australians and in doing this, showcasing a wealth of Indigenous talent. This year in the spirit of reconciliation, non-Indigenous bands have been included in the line-up including Sydney band Skunkhour alongside Indigenous band and Alice Springs rockers, NOKTURNL.
