The Screen Guide

Three Perth skateboarders are interviewed in this creative documentary that combines rarely seen archival footage of skateboarders throughout Perth City over 30 years, with reflections from the interviewees on the nature of public spaces, the usages of architecture and the ways in which skateboarders re-interpret city streets. The wider implications of these ideas include the public/private space divide, and who has the right to use spaces within modern cities in Australia and around the world.
