The Screen Guide

George Stewart was born with dyslexia, and left school at 13 to ride the rails of the Depression, disillusioned and hurt. During his travels, he was a boxer, miner, gambler, steet fighter, sailor, showman, and salvage operator, and successful at all of them. He is now a writer, and in this program he looks back on his life with a brutal honesty that has enabled him to heal some of his emotional scars.
