GUARDIAN tells the story of the Jackson family: Trevor, his wife Jane, their daughter Nicole, and Trevor's estranged brother, Russell. The family are forced to confront their pasts when a mysterious woman, Rachel, disrupts their lives. The family's past has a huge impact on Nicole, who discovers that her family is not what she thought it was. Rachel guides Nicole to the truth, and helps her to see the light that has been shielded from her by everyone she knows.
