A record of a unique production of Jack Hibbard's play 'Dimboola', the outrageous saga of a disastrous wedding reception. It is unique because it is being staged in the Top End of Australia, with a cast of non-professional performers who live throughout the length and breadth of the Northern Territory, from the West Australian border to the Gulf. They include cattlemen and their wives, schoolteachers, a helicopter pilot and a roadside publican. The aim is to raise money for the School of the Air, and the producer is Terry Underwood, mother of four, cattle musterer and School of the Air supervisor.
