The Screen Guide

During World War II thousands of Australian were placed in Japanese prisoner of war camps. Between 1942 and 1945 8,000 of them died in captivity. Those who survived remember the starvation, disease and trauma to which they were subjected. In EVERY INCH OF THE WAY, survivors of the camps describe their experiences during the war, the effect it has had on their lives and their families. Even now, years later, they are still fighting the memories.
