The Screen Guide

An inspiring documentary that captures the unknown story of Irene Gleeson, a typical grandmother who in 1992 left all she had to rescue thousands of children made orphans by AIDS and a 20 year civil war in Northern Uganda. Having faced multiple threats on her life by the IRA and being forced to live in extremely hostile environment, Irene has since built three schools that feed, educate and provide medicine for over 7000 Ugandan children daily.
