Black As is a new on-line series that takes the engine roar and splutter of “Bush Mechanics” to the wilds of Arnhem Land. The Black As crew are masters of the bush … ingenious, adventurous, and as mad as cut snakes. They love nothing more than to traverse their ancestral lands on the hunt for a good feed. Each adventure tests their bush know-how and innovative ways to get a bush bomb on the road, some life into an outboard motor or when all else fails, their endurance when they take to the foot. Derived from a few decades of filmmaking that goes deep into the heart of remote Australia, and a healthy respect for ancient ways, Black As is about celebrating bush culture, ingenuity and what it is to be a young fella in the bush today.
