Go Figure is a short form comedy/documentary series about misrepresentations of Aboriginal history and culture in Australian landmarks. Punchy and irreverent, the show is a satirical but lighthearted treatment of this serious topic, aimed at young online audiences of all ethnicities. Each episode focuses on one landmark, and sees our host - Indigenous comedian Rob Braslin - expose the absurdity of the landmark's naming logic or written claims, and in a series of jokes, short scripted skits, vox pops segments and interviews, invites everyday visitors, viewers and council representatives to acknowledge the mistake and be part of righting the wrong.
Gabriel Willie - Australia’s leading bad boy comedian - goes on a hunt for the juiciest ‘bad words’ in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages, and uncovers some remarkable truths on First Nations’ languages and cultures along the way.
