Emma is a filmmaker and multi-media artist based between Australia and Colombia. She studied under acclaimed Hungarian filmmaker Béla Tarr at his film.factory in Sarajevo where she received her MFA in filmmaking and counts Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Guy Maddin and Gus Van Sant among her teachers. Emma's debut feature-length film, PAPAGAJKA, had its World Premiere at the South by Southwest [SXSW] Film Festival and her second feature film, EL VAQUERO, debuted at FICCI Cartagena and São Paulo International Film Festival. She is an alumnus of the Torino Film Lab, Berlinale Talents and the Reykjavík Talent Lab.
