THE MASCOT is the story of one man's struggle to discover his stolen identity. In 1941 Extermination Troops arrived in Alex Kurzem's village, killing all the Jews. He managed to escape, though was found by Nazi soldiers and faced execution. In an astounding turn of events, one soldier saved his live and he was adopted as their mascot or good luck charm. He was instructed never to reveal his Jewish identity.
