Driving from her parents' Queensland property to Brisbane, law student Jackie Grenville takes a detour and winds up at Frenchman's Farm where she witnesses the murder of a World War II soldier by a man in French Revolutionary garb. Discovering the soldier was killed in 1944, Jackie and boyfriend Barry Norton return to the farm to investigate. They uncover an ancient curse and a recurring series of murders and themselves fall victim to the horror.
