Consumed by love, the lover is consumed. Consumed by hunger, the hunter becomes the hunted.
Ezra, Maudie, Ava and Kyle are The InBESTigators. Operating out of the granny flat in Ezra’s backyard, these disparate kids from Grade Five are led by Maudie, a freakishly gifted observer of human behaviour. As Maudie manages to solve one thorny school or neighbourhood mystery after another, she and Ezra, Ava and Kyle discover what motivates a crime. While every episode offers a compelling puzzle to crack, at its core the show is a character comedy with heart.
LITTLE LUNCH is a 26 x 15 mockumentary comedy series that takes place during fifteen highly significant minutes of a child’s life; that of snack time in the primary school playground. Adapted from the popular books written by Danny Katz and illustrated by Mitch Vane, LITTLE LUNCH has become a vibrant and truthful character comedy for the small screen. Each self-contained episode revolves around, and is told by, six diverse and distinctly identifiable children. LITTLE LUNCH tackles the big issues in the playground and uses observational humour to explore themes which govern children: fear, anxiety, friendship, loyalty, trust and abandonment. Although original in concept, the show is effortlessly universal. LITTLE LUNCH is an eminently relatable comedy with heart.
