Amanda Hood is a Writer/ Director specialising in comedy. Her films have played at major film festivals and sold to broadcasters around the world. Amanda specialises in improv-style performances and has trained extensively at the IO Theater Chicago and the Upright Citizen's Brigade in New York City. Amanda won the Australian Director's Guild Metroscreen Open Fellowship where she was flown to Los Angeles to pitch her projects to major Hollywood players. Amanda's latest feature script, ‘Baby Boomers’ was a finalist in the Page International Screenwriting Awards.
