The 80s was the decade of shoulder pads and robot dancing. There were many cultural phenomena from this celebrated decade that have since been forgotten. One of them was Ricky T., a musical prodigy who scored a national Top 20 electro-pop hit called ‘Candy Land’. But Ricky was never able to follow up with that elusive second hit and soon faded into obscurity. Then, 20 years later, Ricky made a surprise comeback, with the most unexpected results. A documentary team was commissioned to tell his story.
