Apply Now for Talent USA: New York

Applications are open for Talent USA: New York, a unique career development opportunity for up to eight applicants to travel to New York for the Australian International Screen Forum.

Talent USA: New York 2024 Delegation with Screen Australia staff and filmmaker Fred Schepisi AO at the Australian International Screen Forum New York 2024.

Held from 24-28 March 2025 the program will involve a mix of industry roundtables, panel discussions, matched mentoring sessions, pitch training, strategic consultations and introductions to and advice from a selection of influential New York based screen professionals.

This opportunity is for screen creatives with a high level of recent success internationally, who can leverage global knowledge, and develop new skills and relationships to enhance their careers and work.

Successful applicants will receive funding of up to $8,000 that can be used for: travel to New York City; living and accommodation in New York City; and any pre/post Australian International Screen Forum activities. There is a funding cap of $8,000 per application, whether the applicant is an individual or a team.

Delegates are strongly encouraged to think about staying longer in North America, and/or consider stopping via Los Angeles on the way back for further meetings with West Coast-based  industry.

Priority will be given to applicants with an established talent agent and/or management in Australia and/or US.

Applications from underrepresented communities are encouraged to apply.
