Applications Open for Content London 2023 and Discount Registrations Available

Screen Australia has opened applications for screen practitioners to attend Content London, a world leading development marketplace and conference. A limited number of discount registrations are also on offer.

Content London 2023

Content London is a significant event on the global content calendar and Screen Australia will support up to 10 applicants with grants of up to $6000 per person and a registration pass to assist their attendance.

Over three days the successful applicants will have the career building opportunity to attend the event that brings the global drama, formats and factual communities together around a conference, awards and networking agenda.

This funding is aimed to provide screen creatives with a high level of recent success and some traction in the UK with international knowledge, interest, investment, and relationships for their Australian IP and cultural stories.

To be eligible for this program applicants must:

  • be an Australian citizen or resident and meet our Terms of Trade; and
  • have a credit as a creator, producer or writer on a completed scripted drama, comedy or children’s series with evidence of significant views.

Priority will be given to those who:

  • have been invited in 2023 as a speaker at Content London and/or nominated for the C21 International Drama Awards and/or C21 Drama Series Pitch
  • have their own IP, and a robust slate with scripted series that are ready to pitch
  • have international co-production experience, or evidence on their slate of co-production conceived IP
  • evidence of existing traction and relationships with UK-based drama executives, companies, and broadcasters
  • are on the path to becoming showrunners or creators
  • have an established talent agent and/or management in Australia and/or UK and/or US.

Applications from underrepresented communities are encouraged to apply. This may include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; people who are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds; people who are Deaf, hard of hearing or with disability; people who are female or gender diverse; people who identify as LGBTQIA+; and people located in regional and remote areas.

Applications close 5.00pm AEST on Thursday 7 September 2023.

Discount Registrations available

Screen Australia has also secured access to a limited number of discounted registrations for Content London 2023. These will be available to Australian practitioners on a first come/first served basis and on offer until the event sells out.

Screen Australia Umbrella Discount is £719 + VAT.
