Magda Szubanski serves Scottish BBQ specialist

Magda Szubanski on her latest role, starring alongside Shane Jacobson in Australian comedy, The BBQ.

Szubanski says her character, the Butcher, is an Obi-Wan Kenobi to Jacobson's Dazza, as the pair attempt to redeem themselves from personal setbacks by competing in a small-town BBQ competition.

“She’s a great character. That was primarily what drew me to the script,” Szubanski says.
