Letter of Interest applications now open all year
From 25 September 2017, applications for Screen Australia’s Letter of Interest program for feature film production can be made at any time.
Paper Planes
Applicants will be able to submit their application with either an Australian distributor or a Rest of World (ROW) sales agent attached. Please note a Screen Australia letter of interest is neither a prerequisite for an application for production funding nor a commitment from Screen Australia to invest in a project. Applicants need to demonstrate clearly how a letter of interest will help the project attract finance and become production ready.
Additionally, applicants are reminded they do not need to have lodged an application for a Producer Offset provisional certificate at the time of applying to a feature or television production round, unless specifically requested by your Investment Manager. In most cases producers will be able to wait to see whether or not their project has been successful for funding before applying for a certificate, saving time and application fees. However, if you are approved for funding you will need to lodge your application and receive your certification prior to contract execution.
