Indigenous Department Roadshow
The Indigenous Department’s seven-city industry tour continues this October.
Sweet Country, Redfern Now and 8MMM Aboriginal Radio
Celebrating 25 years in 2018, Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department have funded some of Australia’s most ground-breaking titles including Redfern Now, Samson & Delilah and Spear.
Screen Australia’s Head of Indigenous Penny Smallacombe and Junior Investment & Development Manager Hayley Johnson are touring the country to meet face-to-face with Indigenous screen industry practitioners (writers, directors, producers). Registration for Roadshow sessions is free via the links below, but space is limited, with spots allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Roadshow is an opportunity to hear about the Indigenous Department’s development and production programs, professional development funding, practitioner support placements and other opportunities. The Department invests in both drama and documentary across online, television and feature film.
Private meetings in each city are also available for creatives that have a project actively in development and can be requested by emailing Savannah Glynn-Braun.
