Screen Australia announce two new Investment Managers to our Production team.
Lisa Duff and Shana Levine
We’ve appointed two new Investment Managers to our Production team, Lisa Duff and Shana Levine.
Prior to this appointment, Lisa has been an Investment Development Manager in our Documentary unit for more than 12 months, where she has managed a large slate of projects and provided skilful advice to filmmakers seeking funding. Lisa is also an accomplished producer, working on titles like Last Cab to Darwin.
Shana has been a valued member of our Legal team, having held the position of Senior Lawyer at Screen Australia for more than five years. During this time, Shana has earned Screen Australia a long list of credits on complex film and TV investment deals. Shana too is a talented producer, having developed and produced titles such as Charlie & Boots.
In their new roles, Lisa and Shana will report to Sally Caplan, Screen Australia’s Head of Production.
On the appointments, Sally says: “Lisa and Shana were the outstanding candidates. I’m pleased to continue cross skilling and utilising people with a broad range of expertise, and am very much looking forward to working with Lisa and Shana.”
These appointments come after former Investment Manager Tim Phillips took on the role of Head of the Producer Offset and Coproduction Unit, while interim Investment Manager Naomi Wenck finishes up with us next month.
Lisa and Shana will start in their new roles in early June.
