About the role
We are currently seeking a talented creative professional to join our Narrative Content Unit as an Investment Manager. Under the guidance of the Head of Development and working collaboratively with the broader Content and Operations Department, the Investment Manager will play a pivotal role in managing applications, special initiatives and funded projects across Screen Australia’s Narrative Content Development and Production funds. The role also may be required to represent Screen Australia at industry events both locally and internationally.

About you
- Strong track record in one or more aspects of developing, producing, commissioning, directing, writing, distributing or bonding for narrative projects across feature film, television or online/ direct to audience/ interactive narrative in scripted genre.
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of well-developed creative and commercial skills and knowledge, including the ability to provide comments on scripts and creative materials.
- In-depth knowledge of the Australian and preferably international television, direct to audience and feature film entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of production budgets, recoupment structures and other financial matters related to production.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to manage administrative tasks.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to represent Screen Australia professionally.
- Proven ability to contribute positively to team dynamics and workplace culture.
