Register Now for the Intimacy Coordinator Webinar

Join Screen Australia for an insightful webinar on Tuesday 25 February 2025, from 6pm – 7.30pm (AEDT), exploring the role and value of Intimacy Coordinators (ICs) in screen production.

Wakefield

Facilitated by international Intimacy Coordinator Samantha Murray (Disclaimer, Hellraiser, Fair Play) from Safe Sets, this session will unpack how ICs can enhance storytelling, support creative and choreographic collaboration, and ensure productions meet best practice standards.

What you’ll learn:

  • the role of an IC in the production process.
  • the value of early intimacy planning for efficient and sustainable outcomes.
  • the process of consent as a compass, rather than a constraint.
  • communicating for chemistry and trust.
  • navigating Global Rule One (SAG-AFTRA) requirements.

Following Samantha’s presentation, directors Jocelyn Moorhouse (The Dressmaker, Boy Swallows Universe, Wakefield), Garth Davis (Lion, Top Of The Lake, Foe), producer Andrew Walker (Deadloch, Rosehaven, The Kettering Incident), and Intimacy Coordinator Amy Carter (Love Me, The Newsreader, Deadloch), will discuss how ICs can support the directorial vision, build trust on set and provide a framework for productions to meet responsibilities for safe practices.
