Lambs of God: behind the scenes

Actress Essie Davis discusses the complex characters and unique locations in Foxtel’s gothic four-part series Lambs Of God.

Davis, who plays Sister Iphigenia, describes how the attention to detail on costume and set design helped not only bring the world to life but also immerse herself as an actor on set.

Davis also describes the roller-coaster ride of the script. Based on Marele Day’s novel, it follows three nuns living on an isolated convent on the coast, who receive an unexpected and unwelcome visitor.

“We all were a little baffled about the crazy turns that each character would take or the story would take,” she says.
