Angela Betzien Company Director

Angela Betzien’s work is in demand nationally and internationally. She has received the 2011 Sydney Theatre Award for Best New Australian work, the 2007 Richard Wherrett Award for Excellence in Playwriting, a 2007 Australian Writer’s Guild Award, the 2012 Kit Denton Fellowship and a 2012 Queensland Literary Award for Drama. In 2014 Angela was the Patrick White Fellow at Sydney Theatre Company. Last year Helicopter premiered at the National Theatre of Norway and this year, her play The Hanging will have its world premiere at Sydney Theatre Company.

Leticia Cáceras Company Director

Leticia Cáceres has been lauded as one of the most exciting directing talents in the country. She has directed for most mainstage companies in Australia and her work has toured nationally and internationally. She was Associate Director for Melbourne Theatre Company from 2013 to 2015. Her production of Birdland won the 2015 Green Room Award for Best Direction. She is the recipient of four Drama Victoria Awards. Leticia has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Colin Friels, Susie Porter, Dan Wyllie, Leah Purcell, Sigrid Thornton, Brendan Cowell and Simon Stone.
