The Screen Guide

PHASE is about the life and struggle of a contemporary superhero. Phil/Phase and his wife Ione, a comic strip illustrator, are pregnant with their first child. Their relationship degenerates, however, as Phil's obsession with his powers and self-imposed role as a superhero take hold. Set in contemporary Melbourne, PHASE is the story of a postmodern superhero coming to terms with the realities of modern life and its responsibilities.
