Tasmania's Fingal Valley is a special place, where the old people live active, independent lives well into their eighties and nineties. Harry Smith, at 87, still sets his snares almost every night to trap rabbits, wallabies and possoms, to provide a bit of extra income for him and his wife Linda. Ethel Bishop is 88, and has raised eight children, one of whom is in a retirement home, but that's not for Ethel in a place where old age has never meant retirement.
