Queen Biryani, explores the intimate and extraordinary story of Muhammad Ali Qureshi, a Pakistani migrant, a new Australian and a Muslim gay man. 2 Boys in Saris is a catering business set up by Ali and his partner Omar, who is also South Asian and Muslim. Both have a passion for delicious South Asian food, a penchant for drama and a love of saris and big bling. Cooking up a storm and serving their food in saris, both the boys find solace in the business, as a break from their daily lives of working and performing heteronormative roles to their families, who do not know the truth about the love shared between them.
