For Jack Earl, Sydney Harbour is home, and has been ever since he lived aboard small boats as a teenager in the 1920s. Today, as Australia's leading marine artist, 74-year-old Jack still lives on the harbour. In the past, Jack Earl was one of Australia's pioneer yachtsman, a founder of the Sydney-to-Hobart race, and the second Australian to circumnavigate the world in a yacht. Today his epic voyages are over, but he still sails regularly around the harbour, finding inspiration for his paintings.
