Two part program about art, nature and Australia. Since the beginning of colonisation, the natural landscape of Australia has been feared, misunderstood and disparaged. Four Australian artists seek a harmonious relationship with the natural environment. Images and music, thoughts and feelings are blended into a gentle and soothing celebration of our unique landscape. The artists featured are painter Charles Gosford, who works outdoors with pastels; photographer Peter Ellison, who uses a 19th century glass plate camera to record find landscape detail; clothing and jewellery designer Lyn Tune, who is inspired by the textures and patterns of the landscape; and musician/composer Keith Humble, who creates electronic music from natural sounds.
