Dr Fernanda Peñaloza is a Senior Lecturer in Latin American Studies and Chair of the Spanish and Latin American Studies Department at the University of Sydney. She coordinates SURCLA (Sydney University Research Community for Latin America). She has a background in critical theory, and has expertise in the field of Latin American Cultural Studies. Her expertise on Latin American migrant identities (both as an academic and a migrant woman) informs her screenwriting debut for ‘Bump, series 2’.
