An average of 25 first-release Australian feature films (including co-productions) were screened on Australian free-to-air television each year between 2010 and 2019.

Since 1985, an average of 22 local movies per year screened for the first time on free-to-air television.

In 2019, there were 16 first-release feature films broadcast on free-to-air television, which was down from the previous year's high of 44.
