The Screen Guide

STARTING FROM NOW is an online drama that explores the lives of four inner-Sydney lesbians as they struggle to work out who they are, find a place where they belong, and maybe even find someone to love along the way. Season 4 picks up three months after Season 3 and sees Darcy return, reluctant to talk about where she’s been and determined to reunite with Steph. Having spent much of Darcy’s absence questioning their relationship and her unresolved feelings for Emily, Steph is in no hurry to forgive. Even Kristen appears to have moved on, juggling her drug addiction and penchant for anonymous sex with a new job at Legal Aid. As each character struggles to negotiate the new circumstances in which they find themselves, they’re forced to deal with the repercussions of past decisions and the realisation that no amount of regret will allow you to go back to the way things were.
