FremantleMedia Australia is the country’s market leader in the creation of Australia’s most-viewed, most-talked about and highly respected television programmes and digital media content. FMA was formed in 2006 when two great names in the Australian television industry – Crackerjack and Grundy – were acquired by global powerhouse FremantleMedia. The merger of these two companies created the foundations for the high quality television production company FMA is today. Continuing to produce the long-running and hugely successful drama serial NEIGHBOURS, in January 2012 expanded its operations further into television drama by starting its own Drama Division and appointing Jo Porter as Director of Drama.
