Exposure – Behind the Scenes

Creator/writer Lucy Coleman and director Bonnie Moir discuss the making of Stan’s new original series, Exposure.

When Lucy Coleman began writing her protagonist Jacs for Exposure, she didn’t know what form it would take or what her end destination was. What transpired was a flurry of writing that with time, presented itself as a half-hour series.

“I call this process putting sand in the sandbox,” explains Coleman on her initial writing dump. “The more sand I can shove into the sandbox, the more then that I can mould a sandcastle.”

In this behind-the-scenes video, Coleman also discusses her inspiration for the series while director Bonnie Moir talks about filming Bali locations in Sydney and the decision to shoot the series in Academy ratio.
