Applications open for Top End Wedding Indigenous interns
Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department is proudly funding paid internships for four emerging Northern Territory-based Indigenous screen practitioners on the upcoming feature film Top End Wedding starring Miranda Tapsell, produced by Goalpost Pictures.

Directed by Wayne Blair and written by Miranda Tapsell and Josh Tyler, the film is due to go into pre-production on 12 March 2018 and shoot in Adelaide, the Top End and the Tiwi Islands across 16 April – 31 May.
Intern applications can be made for, although are not limited to, the following departments:
- 1st AD
- Art Department
- Camera Department
- Production
- Sound
The internships will run for a minimum of five consecutive weeks (full-time work – start dates staggered), with participants being paid $1,200 per week (before tax) plus superannuation.

- Current CV in MS Word format.
- A cover letter detailing your experience in the screen / arts or related communications industry, your future ambitions in the screen industry and what you love most about Australian feature films.
- Include a copy of your ID to prove NT residence.
Please note
- This opportunity is open to Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander people aged 18 years and over only.
- Students are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be ready to start work in April.
- Applicants must be NT-based.
- Successful applicants who are Darwin-based will be expected to look after their own accommodation for Darwin shoots. Successful applicants who live outside of Darwin will negotiate their Darwin accommodation with the production.
Successful applicants will be notified on 5 March 2018.
